Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman is a prominent Pakistani politician and the current Central Ameer (Supreme Leader) of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan (JIP). He assumed office in April 2024, succeeding Siraj-ul-Haq to become the 6th Emir of the party.
Before taking on the national leadership role, he was most widely recognized as the President (Ameer) of the party’s Karachi chapter, a position he held from 2013 to 2024.

Early Activism: He began his political journey in his youth by joining the Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT), the student wing of Jamaat-e-Islami, eventually serving as its national president (Nazim-e-Aala) twice in the late 1990s.
